Team Rolfes - Real-Time Visuals for Music & Performance
I collaborated with Team Rolfes to create real-time, experimental visuals for music videos, stage performances, and livestreamed events using Unreal Engine. My work focused on building modular systems that combined visual effects, procedural animation, and interactive tools. Highlights include: - Designing real-time environments for live visuals during the Rihanna VMA performance (2016) - Building virtual sets and characters for music videos such as Amnesia Scanner – “Chingy” (Adult Swim / Off The Air) and Danny L Harle – “Ashes of Love” ft. Caroline Polachek - Developing custom puppeteering and control systems for VR performances - Supporting directors and artists on-location and remotely to integrate Unreal Engine into creative pipelines These projects pushed the boundaries of live Unreal Engine use in performance art, years ahead of mainstream or tools within engine.
