TreeVR
TreeVR was an experimental VR experience that placed players inside the mind and body of a burning tree, combining ecological storytelling with immersive embodiment. Premiering at Sundance Film Festival 2017, it fused art, interactivity, and live performance. I led all Unreal Engine development, designing IK solutions to give users expressive limb control and presence as the tree itself. I also created the environmental systems (burning effects, AI, ambiance), coordinated across multiple remote art teams using source control, and provided on-site support for the festival install. TreeVR went on to win a Lumiere Award in 2018 for Best VR Experience.
